“Transmissions From The Swamp Cosmos” (FSI-028)

Frozen Screams Imprint celebrates our first year in operation as a label with a milestone new release from Florida’s psychedelic swamp lurkers, WHARFLURCH! “Transmissions From The Swamp Cosmos” was professionally shot + recorded live with no overdubs @ Black Bear Studios in Gainesville, FL in March 2021. The 30 minute performance is a cosmic journey into the LURCH realm with cinematography by Liz Ramos + editing / FX by Cary Smith aka Basslurch. Multiple camera angles + trippy visual effects -- all with a low-fi VHS aesthetic -- enhance the oozing depths of the music encapsulated within.

As an added bonus alongside this live audio / video transmission, we bring you an exclusive track, “Swamp Thing” — Wharflurch’s brilliant + unique re-imagining of the original classic TV series theme, available via flexi disc + digital download!

Full video experience available on limited run of 100 black VHS, in library book case with custom full color insert. VHS also includes a bonus music video for “Swamp Thing.” The 2nd release under the FSI Home Video banner.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight).
