SWAMP - “Resolve To Repel” [FSI-034 / THC-002]

Worlds collide as New York, Atlanta + Florida join forces for the brand new EP from Jacksonville death sludge outfit, SWAMP. “Resolve to Repel” is the product of SWAMP damn near falling apart in the midst of a global pandemic. In 2020, after all of their shows were canceled + a few members went their separate ways, a chance meeting with Jesse Byrdic (vocals) in a gross bar got the band ready to play shows as a 4 piece. Another chance meeting (in an even grosser bar) with Tyler G fully reformed the band, ready to destroy.

This is SWAMP's first + only release with Jesse on the mic, as he would depart the band shortly after recording to join his longtime friends in Slugcrust up in South Carolina. We can't thank him enough for the blasphemy he ingrained into this release + this band, and for paving the way for our new vocalist Aidan.

With vastly different music preferences across the band, the songs had no choice but to sound out of the ordinary. But still metal nonetheless, and what makes this release so special. Frozen Screams Imprint is honored to partner with SWAMP + Terminus Hate City for this special limited edition press. Tapes will be available from FSI, Terminus Hate City + the band directly.
