SALEM0666 start to finish this album never gets old, i could run it back to back. the boys came in hard and they hit heavy from the jump. left 2 bleed is one of my favorite releases over the past couple years. Favorite track: Kingdom Of Savagery.

TAR - “Left 2 Bleed” (FSI-033)

Frozen Screams Imprint fires up the first Bandcamp Friday of 2022 with “Left 2 Bleed,” the brand new EP from Pawtucket Rhode Island’s TAR. Five tracks of brutal slamming death metal with plenty of heavy breakdowns to leave you bleeding profusely for the rest of the year. The aptly-titled opening track sets the EP in motion with a caliber blast to the skull + it simply does not let up for its entire 18 minute run-time, leaving a pit of corpses in its wake. This is one of those releases that I listened to for a few minutes + hit the band up immediately to put it out.

The production quality is stunning — produced, engineered + mixed by friends of the band Tim Sullivan + Cody Delvecchio, and mastered by Mike Kalajian at Rogue Planet Mastering. Dope artwork + logo by Rotting Head. FFO: Viking riffs + beer

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
