Preceded by 2015’s self-titled debut album, a 2016 EP on Burning Dogma Records, and 2017’s “Ripped Off” cover split EP with VBT (which saw both bands covering the likes of Nasum, Napalm Death, Entombed, Morbid Angel, and more), “Born to See, Bred to Hate, Led to Destroy” is a massive leap forward for the band. Fusing elements of death metal, grind, hardcore, crust & punk with versatility & ease, as cliche as it sounds there is literally “something for everyone” on this new record — all killer, no filler — straight to the point brutality with their own unique take on the HM-2 sound. An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
